Martin Marietta is seeking an Asphalt Plant Laborer in Golden, CO, to perform a wide range of manual and equipment-based tasks that support hot mix asphalt production, maintain a safe and clean workspace, and assist with basic preventive maintenance.

The Asphalt Plant Laborer is a vital member of the plant crew, responsible for performing a wide range of manual and equipment-based tasks that support the production of high-quality hot mix asphalt. This role is foundational to the plant's daily operations, focusing on maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workspace. Beyond manual labor, the Laborer is expected to assist with preventative maintenance, manage inventory through material handling, and eventually cross-train on various mobile equipment to support the overall production goals of the facility.

Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for plant maintenance and equipment servicing.Required to bend, stoop, climb, and reach. You must have good depth perception with or without seeing aid for distances up to 150 feet.
Working ConditionsAll duties require outside assignments and require periods of work in all weather conditions, cold, wet, dry and dusty. Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 85 dbs.
