Job summary

Rogers Group, Inc. is seeking an Asphalt Plant Utility/Ground Technician for our Pottsville asphalt plant in Lewisburg, TN. The role requires self-motivation and a focus on safety, with the ability to work well with others and handle multiple responsibilities around the plant.

The position is full-time with day shifts and some night work. Candidates must be willing to cross-train across plant functions and work extended hours when needed. Benefits are offered as part of our safety-driven culture.

• Self-motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision.

• Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include Plant Clean-up, Maintenance, Operating Heavy Equipment and Machinery.
• Ability to work in a variety of conditions.
• Willing to work weekends and long hours when needed.
• Willing to be flexible when called upon to perform other assignments or to assist in other areas at the discretion of management.

Responsibilities

• Primary duties will include support and clean-up around the asphalt plant
• General maintenance of plant and equipment
• Utilizing heavy equipment in performing jobs and moving materials around the plant, as needed
• Candidate will be cross trained in all areas.
