Job summary

APAC-Atlantic, Inc., Asheville Division, seeks a crew member to keep the asphalt plant running at normal efficiency, including loader operation to maintain production in Western North Carolina.

The role requires 8–12 hour shifts, overtime, and strict adherence to safety policies. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; loader experience and a valid driver's license are valued assets for working across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Articulating equipment experience required.
• Basic electrical/mechanical skills preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in construction field is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant operations with loader to support production.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations at all times.
• Assist plant crew with duties such as shoveling, loading equipment and maintenance.
• Report problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, Safety Manager, or HR Manager.
• Work 8–12 hour shifts with overtime as needed.
