Job summary

ASPS PARENT LLC on Johns Island, SC is seeking an Asphalt Laborer to join our operations team. You will perform heavy manual labor on parking lot projects, assist with patching, sealing, and concrete tasks, and help maintain equipment and the worksite.

The role requires 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent education, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors under varying weather conditions. CDL is preferred or obtainable within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license required; Class A CDL preferred or obtainable within six months.
• Ability to work outdoors, meet deadlines, and handle outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor on patching and paving projects, including saw cutting and asphalt removal.
• Assist in offloading and placement of asphalt material, spreading, and grading.
• Maintain safe, clean worksite and manage traffic in work zones.
• Operate hand/power tools to support paving processes.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and report any issues to Foreman.
• Support Foreman with project assignments and site cleanup.
• Attend bi-weekly safety meetings and follow safety procedures.
