Job summary

Rose Paving is seeking an Asphalt Laborer to support our paving and patching crews across parking lot projects. You will perform physical labor, including saw cutting, asphalt removal, base compaction, and finishing surfaces to grade.

Responsibilities include traffic control, equipment maintenance, and assisting with material handling. A valid driver’s license is required; Class A CDL is preferred or must be obtained within six months. Must lift up to 60 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of related paving or labor experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (Class A CDL preferred or must be obtained within six months).
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work outdoors in various weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor on patching, paving, and base compaction.
• Assist with saw cutting, asphalt removal, and grading.
• Offload and place asphalt material and smooth to grade.
• Maintain and inspect equipment and tools.
• Drive trucks to transport materials and assist in maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE.
