Landmark Paving in Florida is seeking a hardworking Asphalt Crew Laborer to support the preparation, laying, and finishing of asphalt on roads, driveways, and parking areas. The role is physically demanding and requires teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather.

Prior paving experience is helpful but not required; candidates must be 18+ and able to lift up to 80 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding labor.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for paving by sweeping and cleaning.
• Shovel, rake, and level hot mix asphalt.
• Operate hand tools and small equipment.
• Feed asphalt to paving machine to maintain workflow.
• Ensure proper compaction and smoothness of asphalt.
• Maintain a clean, safe work zone.
• Follow foremen and supervisors’ instructions.
• Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment.
• Perform daily equipment checks and maintenance.
• Direct traffic near work zones.
• General labor duties for asphalt paving, patching, or prep.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
