Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clear MVR, background, and drug screening.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and computers.
• Ability to work long hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Communicate test status and results to Lab Manager.
• Collect asphalt samples from plants, job sites, or roadways.
• Perform laboratory tests on asphalt binder and mixtures.
• Prepare samples for testing using ovens, sieves, and compaction equipment.
• Record and analyze test results accurately.
• Compare results against project specifications and standards.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment.
• Prepare reports for engineers, contractors, or project managers.
• Assist with troubleshooting material performance issues.
• Follow safety and quality control procedures.
• Adhere to deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Be flexible during peak times.
