Fort Myer Construction is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Field Technician to perform daily sampling and testing of asphalt materials in the lab and on-site. The role ensures finished products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements while supporting ongoing infrastructure projects in DC, MD, and VA.

The candidate will follow QC plans, maintain testing equipment, and complete logs. Proficiency with MS Word/Excel, strong math skills, and the ability to work extended hours are essential

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MARTCP Asphalt Field Technician Certification OR VDOT Field Level II Certification required.
• U.S. DOT Radiation HAZMAT Certification required.

Responsabilités

• Follow quality control plans or guidelines as assigned.
• Procure samples of asphalt for DOT compliance.
• Complete daily paperwork and test logs.
• Conduct field production and testing of asphalt.
• Perform daily quality control testing and analysis of asphalt samples.
