Job summary

Amrize is seeking an experienced Luteman Operator for its Asphalt division in the United States. You will hand-grade and finish asphalt to meet line, grade, and cross-slope while supporting the paving crew to deliver a smooth, high-quality mat.

This role demands physical stamina, adherence to safety standards, and daily travel to job sites. Qualifications include a high school diploma and at least 2 years of hands-on luteman experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on asphalt luteman experience in paving.
• Must be able to travel daily and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to hand-grade and finish asphalt to meet line, grade, and slope requirements.
• Knowledge of asphalt paving procedures, materials, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Hand-grade and shape asphalt to achieve proper line, grade, and cross-slope using a lute or rake.
• Assist in fine-finishing around edges, joints, curbs, manholes, and utilities.
• Work with paver and roller operators to ensure a smooth, uniform mat.
• Identify and correct surface imperfections and maintain material depth.
• Follow project specifications and safety procedures at all times.
