Key Skills You’ll Use or Learn

• Paving & Surface Work – Operate or assist with asphalt pavers, rollers, and other equipment. Help install smooth, durable asphalt surfaces for driveways, roads, parking lots, and more.
• Site Prep & Layout – Set up job sites safely and efficiently. Assist in grading, drainage setup, and preparing gravel foundations before paving.
• Attention to Detail – Help ensure all paving meets quality standards and project specifications. Work on both residential and commercial jobs—including schools, parks, athletic tracks, and subdivisions.
• Teamwork & Communication – Work closely with a crew and foreman to get the job done right. Follow directions clearly and communicate effectively with others on-site.
• Physical Work & Safety – Comfortable working outdoors in all weather. Ability to lift, carry, and work on your feet for long periods. Follow all safety guidelines to keep yourself and your team safe.
