Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an Asphalt Technician to join our quality lab team. You will provide asphalt testing support, collect data, and report results while ensuring safety and compliance with ASTM/AASHTO methods.

The role requires hands-on lab work and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have a two-year technical degree or a high school diploma with 1–3 years of lab/manufacturing experience, plus proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical/lab/engineering/science associate degree with 1–3 years lab experience.
• Alternatively, high school diploma with 1–3 years lab/manufacturing experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Mechanical hands-on aptitude; ability to lift 45 lbs; operate lab and maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide asphalt testing support and data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Maintain testing certification and follow ASTM/AASHTO methods.
• Balance multiple assignments across projects and maintain a safe lab.
• Assist with calibrations, maintenance, and inventory.
