Job summary

Lone Star Paving in Central Texas is seeking an Asphalt Heavy Equipment Front End Loader Operator to join our asphalt team. You will work with the crew foreman and help with paving operations, material distribution, and site readiness.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in asphalt, 1–2 years operating paving equipment, and a strong safety mindset. We offer full-time roles, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in the asphalt industry
• 1-2 years operating paving equipment
• Organized with a detail-oriented mindset
• Professional, positive, and works well in teams

Responsibilities

• Operate the front-end loader on site as directed
• Inspect equipment before and after shifts for safety and readiness
• Maintain awareness of coworkers and exercise safety practices
• Perform general laborer tasks for asphalt paving, patching, or prep
• Assist with shoveling, raking, and handling tools as needed
• Clean and organize equipment before leaving the job site
• Follow foreman instructions and assist with traffic control devices
• Communicate effectively with crew and foreman
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
• Take part in other duties as assigned
