Job summary

AA Asphalting, a leading Pacific Northwest asphalt and concrete restoration provider, seeks a motivated Construction Estimator. The role focuses on generating revenue, preparing detailed cost estimates, and creating bid proposals.

Occasional travel across Puget Sound for site visits and pre-bid conferences is required. Ideal candidates will have experience in asphalt/concrete paving estimation and be adept at coordinating with operations to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery and strong

Qualifications

• Experience in asphalt and/or concrete paving estimating is preferred.
• Ability to prepare cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Strong proposal writing and bid submission skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new revenue by securing contracted work and retaining customers.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and formal bid proposals.
• Travel to Puget Sound for site visits, pre-bid conferences, and field measurements.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure smooth project handoff and execution.
• Monitor pricing and communicate project adjustments to customers.
