Job summary

VulnU seeks an ASO Threat Analyst Manager to lead a 24/7 security operations team, triaging and containing threats for multi-tenant clients. You will supervise analysts, manage queue dynamics, and ensure tight SLAs while integrating AI-driven workflows with human expertise.

You will drive tactical incident leadership, mentor staff, and coordinate with Detection Engineering, SOAR Engineering, and Threat Hunting to improve operational effectiveness and security posture.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years in Information Security.
• 3 years within an active SOC, MDR, or MSSP environment, incl. 1–2 years in a tactical lead or senior escalation role.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted triage, SOAR playbooks, or agentic security workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own daily shift execution, queue hygiene, and alert velocity meeting client SLAs/SLOs.
• Lead tactical incident triage during critical security events (P1/P0) and coordinate with teams.
• Mentor analysts with real-time guidance and quality reviews of investigations.
• Coordinate with Detection Engineering, SOAR Engineering, and Threat Hunting for handoffs and feedback.
• Lead After-Action Reviews to identify process gaps and immediate remediation steps.
