SPS Commerce, Inc. is seeking a Manager II, Security Operations to lead the Cyber Defense team. You will direct engineers and analysts, manage a secure 24x7 SOC, and own the evolving AI-assisted triage and response orchestration.

This role partners with ACE to drive agentic capabilities and translate strategy into a practical SecOps roadmap. You will oversee CrowdStrike, NG-SIEM, Panther, and other tooling, while ensuring efficient incident response and cross-functional communication with

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response.
• Experience maturing Cyber capabilities and driving organizational transformation.
• Sev1 incident command experience with cross-functional engineering and executive communications.
• Experience owning multi-quarter security programs end-to-end including roadmap and risk reduction.
• Experience owning MSP/MSSP relationships at scale, including renewal economics and scope changes.
• Working knowledge of EDR, SIEM, SOAR, and ticketing tooling similar to SPS stack (CrowdStrike, NG-SIEM/Panther/Splunk/Sentinel, Jira).
• Direct experience with SPS stack including CrowdStrike Falcon, Panther, Tines, AWS, EKS, and Atlassian.

Aufgaben

• Own SOC operational performance including alert triage metrics and time-to-containment.
• Serve as incident commander for Sev1 and escalated security incidents.
• Oversee AI agents in the SOC, including escalation thresholds and quality control.
• Manage the 8-person L1/L2 SOC pod, onboarding and performance.
• Translate Cyber Defense strategy into a tactical SecOps roadmap and manage Jira workflows.
• Oversee core Cyber Defense tooling, SIEM content lifecycle, NG-SIEM migration, and SOAR runbooks.
• Run 24x7 on-call rotation across FTE and contractor coverage.
• Provide day-to-day coaching and career development for engineers and analysts.
