Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Nurse for full-time faculty or minimum of two years for part-time faculty
- Current, unencumbered Indiana RN license
- Most faculty shall hold master’s degrees in nursing
- If holding a bachelor’s in nursing, must meet all requirements to pursue a master’s degree and provide ongoing documentation of matriculation
Responsibilities
- Deliver assigned classes using pedagogy and technology aligned with course objectives and program outcomes
- Maintain student records, attendance, grades and required documentation
- Support student retention and success through coaching and proper referrals
- Engage in professional development and stay current with pedagogy and technology in nursing education
- Coordinate with college resources and participate in college-wide committees as needed
