Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana seeks adjunct nursing faculty to deliver and assess ASN and PN coursework, align with common syllabi, and support student success.

Faculty will use technology to enhance instruction, maintain accurate records, and participate in a learning environment that values diverse backgrounds. This is a part-time, per-semester teaching role with compliance to FERPA and college policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current, unencumbered Indiana Registered Nurse license.
• Majority of faculty shall hold master’s degrees in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classes in accordance with college policy and course objectives.
• Utilize technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Maintain student records, grades and other requirements.
• Engage with students regularly to promote learning and positive experience.
• Promote inclusive classroom environment reflecting diverse backgrounds.
• Adhere to FERPA and college policies.
