Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana seeks a full-time ASN program faculty member to deliver quality nursing instruction and support student success across delivery methods. The role emphasizes outcomes alignment, curriculum development, and active engagement in retention initiatives.

The candidate will utilize Blackboard, maintain records, and participate in professional development, campus service, and college-wide activities.

Qualificações

• Full- or part-time ASN program faculty must meet RN experience requirements.
• Current Indiana RN license in good standing is required.
• The majority of ASN faculty shall hold master’s degrees in nursing.
• If holding a Bachelor’s in nursing, an academic plan to complete a Master’s in nursing must be in place within one semester, with ongoing documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver classes with pedagogy and technology aligned to course objectives and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain curriculum to support course objectives and outcomes.
• Maintain records, attendance, grades and a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Facilitate student achievement of program learning outcomes.
• Use LMS (e.g., Blackboard) to teach, assess and communicate.
• Provide academic coaching and monitoring to advisees with professional advising staff.
• Monitor student performance and intervene with tutoring and resources as needed.
• Maintain posted office hours and student engagement hours as required.
• Promote recruitment, retention and program completion through outreach.
• Participate in professional development and scholarly activities.
• Stay current in pedagogy and technology related to teaching.
• Engage in community relations and college outreach activities.
• Support college governance and accreditation-related projects.
• Attend commencements and college meetings; participate in committee work.
• Support program management with department chair.
• Adhere to college and regional policies.
