Job summary

D7 Pneumatics LLC is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to support our fabrication shop and field operations based in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The role will begin part-time or as-needed with potential to become full-time based on workload and company growth.

Key duties include administering the Quality Control Manual, overseeing shop fabrication and field installations, reviewing drawings and project requirements, and coordinating with inspectors, clients and third-party agencies to ensure

Qualifications

• Understanding of welding inspection and fabrication quality-control methods.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings, piping isometrics, PIDs, weld maps and technical specifications.
• Experience administering inspection, examination and pressure-testing requirements.
• Strong documentation, organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and enforce the D7 Quality Control Manual and related procedures.
• Oversee quality activities for shop fabrication and field installations.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications and project requirements before work begins.
• Confirm applicable codes, standards, inspection requirements and testing procedures for each project.
• Maintain compliance with ASME, National Board and pressure-piping requirements.
• Coordinate with Authorized Inspectors, client representatives, engineers and third-party inspection agencies.
• Verify Welding Procedure Specifications are available and followed.
• Maintain weld maps, logs, and project turnover documentation.
• Establish and monitor inspection hold points and conduct/or coordinate inspections.
• Coordinate nondestructive examination when required and ensure pressure testing is performed properly.
• Assist with audits and training to promote a safety-focused quality culture.
