You will perform detailed calculations, code reviews, and fabrication support, while preparing drawings, BOMs, and documentation. Strong CAD skills and knowledge of welding processes are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of design experience in metal fabrication, pressure vessels, tanks.
  • Working knowledge of ASME Section VIII.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar).
  • Strong welding, fabrication, and manufacturing process knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design pressure vessels per ASME VIII, Division 1 and customer requirements.
  • Perform detailed calculations, code reviews, and structural analyses.
  • Provide technical guidance to shop personnel during fabrication and welding.
  • Prepare, review, and approve engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and project management teams.
  • Develop material specifications and select appropriate materials.
  • Support process improvements and standardization efforts.
