Marrakech, Inc. is seeking an ASL fluent substitute support staff in the Winsted area to assist individuals on a per diem basis. You will help with daily activities, implement goals, monitor programs, and document with accuracy while supporting community integration.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 3–6 months of related experience or a training certificate. Valid CT driver’s license and CPR/First Aid are desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or human service training certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assists individuals in daily activities including hygiene.
• Implements behavioral goals, teaching strategies, monitoring procedures and exercise programs.
• Assists in completion of individuals assessments.
• Supervises and assists in preparation of food per prescribed diets.
• Provides active treatment to individuals.
• Models positive adult roles in the community.
• Fosters community belonging through person-centered activities.
• Provides meaningful community experiences to individuals.
• Maintains supervision of individuals in the community.
• Documents case notes, logs, programs, incident and safety reports timely and accurately.
