Job summary

AVITA Community Partners in Georgia seeks a devoted paraprofessional to provide behavioral health and social services to clients and families under supervision. You will organize group counseling and teach daily living skills while monitoring progress toward treatment goals.

Travel across the state to monitor service sites, transport clients when needed, and collaborate with community resources and local agencies to support client wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health or Counseling or related field.
• One year of experience working with adults with a SPMI diagnosis in a social services setting.
• Advanced proficiency in American Sign Language.

Responsibilities

• Provide paraprofessional behavioral health and social services to clients and families.
• Organize and facilitate group counseling under supervision.
