Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking an Educational Interpreter for a school-based opportunity supporting Deaf or hard of hearing students in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The interpreter will facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers, helping students access classroom instruction and participate in school activities.

The position is onsite in Green Bay, WI with a schedule of 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, Monday through Friday for the 2026–2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in the sign language or communication modality required by the student’s assignment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to interpret educational content accurately and clearly.
• Ability to prepare for lessons and unfamiliar vocabulary.
• Understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Preferred: Prior experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and school activities.
• Facilitate communication during academic and nonacademic settings.
• Review instructional materials and vocabulary before interpreting.
• Collaborate with staff regarding students’ IEP goals and progress.
• Support accessible materials and reinforce classroom learning under teacher supervision.
• Participate in meetings and professional development.
• Help maintain a safe, positive learning environment.
