Job summary

ContextGlobal, Inc. seeks Deafblind Interveners to support Deafblind students in a K-12 setting with ASL as the primary communication mode. Role is full-time and assigned to the school for the academic year, with summer coverage as needed.

Ideal candidates are fluent in American Sign Language, with preference for tactile/pro-tactile signing and Deaf culture knowledge. Compensation includes a 12-month salary or hourly wage, with PTO, medical and dental insurance, annual PD stipend, and 401(k)

Qualifications

• Completion of an intervener training program or willingness to enroll in one while employed with ContextGlobal.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting are required.
• Drug test and Safety Care Training required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication and access to information for deafblind students.
• Develop and implement language/communication goals aligned with IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student learning and safety.
