Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Library Media or Library Science.
• Native-user or fluency in American Sign Language required.

• Must be able to work with staff and students of diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Knowledge of various learning styles and strategies for diverse learners.
• Two years of experience in the library/media field.

Responsibilities

• Supervise library/media center and curriculum lab.
• Provide services and resources to help students develop information literacy skills.
• Consult with teachers on the use of materials and information resources.
• Maintain records and reports for libraries and programs.
• Ensure compliance with laws, ethics, and board policies.
• Provide staff development on learning resources and library services.
• Participate in staff meetings, PLCs, and curriculum projects.
• Attend activities outside school hours as directed by administration.
