Job summary

ALFARO-MCFIELD MEDICAL CLINIC INC is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will prepare for patient visits by organizing charts, support nurses and staff, and assist with tests and lab reporting to ensure timely communication of patient conditions.

You will also help manage medical supplies inventory, set up machines, test equipment, and clean instruments and rooms as needed. Prior office experience and a customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or CMA desired or required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• At least 3 years of experience in a medical/office setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and notes and setting up medical equipment.
• Clean instruments and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs.
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties.
