Altais is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our fast-growing team in a paperless outpatient setting. You will perform clinical and administrative tasks, room patients, take vital signs, and support the care delivery team under the Practice Operations Supervisor.

This role emphasizes compassionate patient care within a physician-first healthcare system. You will work with Medical Assistants and Medical Receptionists to ensure smooth patient flow, schedule visits, handle basic lab

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program.
• 1+ year MA experience in outpatient setting; 3+ preferred.
• EMR experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care including rooming, vital signs, injections, urine analysis, EKG, wound care, and ear lavage.
• Support calls, triage patients, and administer treatment per provider orders.
• Schedule/check-in, collect co-pays, and assist with after-visit instructions.
• Assist with prescriptions, referrals, and authorizations.
• Remind patients of overdue services and follow-up care.
