Job summary

ALFARO-MCFIELD MEDICAL CLINIC INC is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will prepare for patient visits, support nurses and medical staff, and help manage tests and lab reporting to ensure timely care. You will also assist with inventory management, equipment setup, and room/ Instrument cleaning.

The ideal candidate has customer service skills, an interest in learning the medical environment, and at least 3 years of office experience. BLS or CMA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or CMA desired.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• At least 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and notes and setting up medical equipment.
• Clean instruments and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs.
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties.
