Wassef Medical Services Pc is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will prepare for patient visits by organizing charts, assist with testing and lab reports, and help manage medical supplies and equipment.

This role includes interaction with patients and coordinating with medical staff to keep visits on schedule. The ideal candidate has customer service experience, an interest in a medical environment, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Background in a medical practice involving prior authorizations and insurance verifications a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment.
• Prior authorizations, chart creation, scheduling new patients and follow ups.
• Clean instruments and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs.
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties.
