Job summary

West Coast Medical Associates is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will prepare for patient visits by organizing charts, pulling notes, and setting up medical equipment, while providing routine support alongside nurses and clinicians.

You will help track tests and lab reports, manage medical supplies inventory, operate testing devices, and ensure instruments and rooms are kept clean. Strong customer service and a proactive attitude are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
• Clean instruments and equipment after use
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties
