Job summary

Positive Choice Homecare LLC in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant / CNA to join our growing home care team. Provide essential in-home care, assist with ADLs, mobility, and health monitoring to improve clients’ daily lives.

You will document care, support families, and work under the supervision of our agency. We value reliability, patient-centered care, and strong communication. CPR/First Aid is a plus; Nevada CNA certification or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification or PCA experience preferred.
• Valid Nevada certification or eligibility to work as a CNA/PCA.
• Prior experience in home health or related healthcare setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support in the home.
• Monitor and document client health status, reporting changes to supervising staff.
• Administer medication reminders and assist with prescribed care plans.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Maintain accurate care logs and documentation in compliance with agency standards.
