MGM Resorts International seeks an Assistant General Manager for Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse inside MGM Grand in Las Vegas. You will lead daily restaurant operations, drive guest satisfaction, and partner with the General Manager to inspire a high-performing team and deliver exceptional hospitality experiences.

The role emphasizes budgetary control, staff development, scheduling, and adherence to MGM Resorts’ premier service standards, with a focus on maintaining top-tier health and service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement (preferred).
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant or luxury/fine-dining environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, budgeting, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and marketing strategies to drive short-term profitability.
• Assist General Manager with HR responsibilities for the restaurant.
• Interact with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of the dining experience.
• Enforce policies, procedures, training, menus, and regulations for restaurant staff.
• Oversee execution of F&B initiatives and company programs.
• Maintain health, sanitation, and cleanliness standards and complete required training.

THE JOB:

As Assistant General Manager at Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse inside MGM Grand, you will help lead one of the Las Vegas Strip's most exciting dining destinations. Partnering with the General Manager, you will drive operational excellence, develop and inspire a high-performing team, and deliver exceptional guest experiences rooted in authentic Western hospitality. You will oversee daily front-of-house operations, staff development, scheduling, and performance management while championing MGM Resorts' premier service standards. With a passion for hospitality and leadership, you will create memorable "WOW" moments for guests, drive financial performance, and help establish Four Sixes Ranch Steakhouse as a must-visit culinary destination.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Lead and manage daily restaurant operations, fiscal budgets, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and execution of marketing strategies to produce short-term profitability. Execute on the restaurant’s business plan and assist General Manager with developing and executing tactics to achieve goals and targets
• Assist General Manager with managing Human Resources responsibilities for Restaurant
• Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining experience.
• Responsible for execution of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, rules and regulations for the restaurant staff.
• Owns restaurant’s execution of F&B and/or company-wide initiatives and programs.
• Maintain the highest standards of health, sanitation and cleanliness within all areas of Beverage. Responsible for completion of all company compliance training by the restaurant staff.
• Maintains excellent knowledge of venue’s food & beverage products, menu items and equipment used to perform duties

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience
• Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement. preferred
• Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant OR Previous experience in a luxury or fine-dining restaurant. preferred
• Possesses knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails
