Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a Lead ASIC Design Engineer to spearhead the design, development and testing of Silicon One ASICs. You will collaborate with the Central Hardware Group and Silicon Operations testers, aligning with NPI teams to deliver reliable products.

You will ensure ASICs meet customer needs, drive quality, and help bring new Cisco products to market across lines. Strong scripting, Linux, and AI-driven productivity ideas are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 0 years of work experience, or related program with 1 year of work experience
• Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field
• Familiarity with Test Coverage and DFT (SCAN/ATPG/MBIST/JTAG)
• Familiarity with ATE and testing concepts
• Knowledge of semiconductor devices and manufacturing flow
• Exposure to scripting languages (Python or Perl) for automation
• Familiarity with Linux-based development environments and Git/SVN
• Strong interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and solve sophisticated engineering challenges
• Excellent organizational, teamwork, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and testing of Cisco's Silicon One ASICs
• Collaborate with ASIC design teams in the Central Hardware Group
• Work with peer Test/Product Engineers in Silicon Operations
• Collaborate with Cisco Systems NPI teams
• Ensure successful delivery of high-quality ASICs that meet customer needs
• Help define, develop, and bring new Cisco products to market across product lines
