Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of experience
• Master's degree with 4+ years of experience
• PhD with 1+ years of experience
• Proven post-silicon validation, bring-up, and debug with ASICs
• Experience bringing up standard peripheral interfaces (I2C, SPI, JTAG) and protocols (PCIe, Ethernet)
• Fluency in C, Python, and scripting for validation automation

Responsibilities

• Plan and set up Silicon Bring-up infrastructure, including system boot, initialization, and Power-On of ASICs
• Work with design, verification, and board teams to root-cause functional and electrical issues
• Prepare the Validation Test plan and execute functional and performance testing (IP, Subsystem, full-chip)
• Develop and extend validation infrastructure, automation, and test suites with efficient result capture and regression frameworks
• Apply lab instrumentation knowledge (oscilloscopes, analyzers, traffic generators) for validation
• Coordinate with RTL, DFT, ATE, firmware, and system teams to ensure smooth pre- to post-silicon transition
• Provide feedback on test escapes, yield issues, and silicon errata influencing silicon revisions and firmware workarounds
