Job summary

Amazon is seeking an ASIC Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA to join a cross-disciplinary team delivering innovative custom silicon for the Amazon Leo program.

You will participate in logic design, verification and post-silicon validation, work with physical design teams to meet performance and area goals, and develop design automation flows. This role involves collaboration with internal and external partners across the full design lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems with strong analytical skills.
• Experience in RTL coding and debug, plus performance/power/area analysis.
• Experience in C/C++ and SystemVerilog coding.
• Experience working with physical design teams to optimize ASICs.
• Experience with modern ASIC/FPGA design and verification tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in logic design, verification and post-silicon validation.
• Work with physical design teams to meet performance and area requirements.
• Develop a deep understanding of end-customer requirements and SoC architecture.
• Develop and execute design automation mechanisms and flows.
