Job summary

JAC Recruitment is seeking a Manager (Senior/Assistant) for the Asia Market West to drive sales growth across Asian grocery, foodservice and distributor channels in California. You will develop and execute sales and marketing programs, build strong customer relationships, and support new product launches with data-driven insights.

The role requires fluency in Chinese and English, 2+ years in grocery or CPG sales, and willingness to travel; a Bachelor's in business administration or marketing is

Qualifications

• Fluency in Chinese and English required; Japanese or Korean skills preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of grocery retail, beverage, foodservice, or CPG sales experience with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Experience working with distributors, retail accounts, and channel sales organizations.
• Strong understanding of Asian grocery, consumer products, and food and beverage markets.
• Ability to analyze consumer trends, sales data, pricing, and profitability.
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and execute initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM or sales reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and marketing programs to achieve annual revenue, profitability, and market share goals.
• Partner with the SVP of Asia Markets and regional sales teams to implement branded product initiatives and growth strategies.
• Support new product development, pricing strategies, promotional activities, and product launches.
• Identify opportunities for line extensions and market expansion through customer insights and consumer trend analysis.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, foodservice operators, and key accounts.
• Prospect, develop, and manage Asian grocery, technology, and other assigned accounts within the territory.
• Maximize product placement, merchandising execution, and promotional effectiveness at retail locations.
• Conduct store visits to monitor inventory levels, organize displays, rotate products, and ensure shelf standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with distributor partners through ride-alongs, account visits, and new business development activities.
• Implement strategic marketing plans, point-of-sale programs, promotions, and retail support initiatives.
• Participate in trade shows, customer events, and industry activities to strengthen brand presence.
• Maintain accurate reporting, sales forecasts, account updates, and budget performance metrics.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives while supporting overall departmental growth.
• Attend team meetings, sales conferences, and company events as required.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain a high standard of customer service and business conduct.
