Job summary

Reworld is hiring a Utility Operator to oversee ash handling and metal recovery equipment in the Residue Storage and Processing Building area. You will perform routine operations, inspections, and support maintenance activities on a rotating 12-hour shift, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

The role requires reading and following technical procedures, communicating clearly with team members, and operating forklifts as needed. Benefits and safety programs are emphasized.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma preferred.
• Forklift driving experience a plus.
• Three to six months of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Formal technical or apprentice training is desirable, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and other procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak and communicate effectively with supervisors and other employees.

Responsibilities

• Daily operation of ash handling and associated equipment.
• Perform daily inspections and fill out log sheets.
• Participate in boiler cleanings.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area.
• Lockout/tag out of equipment in maintenance activities.
• Complete scheduled Operator Qualifications Standards.
• Drive forklifts and other mobile equipment.
