Job summary

Belmar Pharma Solutions is seeking a Sterile Compounding Technician to join our Arizona team. The role involves interpreting formula worksheets and aseptically preparing medications under pharmacist supervision, while maintaining clean room integrity and accurate records.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma, state technician registration, and experience in compounding or lab settings. Excellent attention to detail and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, understand SOPs and guidelines as they relate to the process.
• Registration with state as a licensed technician is required upon hire.
• Compounding and/or laboratory experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Measures, weighs, counts, and compounds medications.
• Mixes pharmaceutical preparations according to formulation logs.
• Establishes and maintains accurate patient records with lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Maintains proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
• Preparation and compounding of sterile products.
• Maintain clean room to USP 797 and USP 800 requirements.
• Experience with aseptic techniques in BSC and LAFW.
• Complete Hand Hygiene and Garbing qualification.
• Inventory management and documentation.
