Job summary

Belmar Pharma Solutions in Youngtown, AZ, is seeking a Sterile Compounding Technician to prepare medications under pharmacist supervision, following aseptic techniques and USP 797/800 standards. You will measure, weigh, and compound medications, maintain patient records with lot numbers and exp dates, and keep the clean room compliant.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; substitution possible with education, training and experience.
• Must read and understand SOPs and all guidelines as they relate to the process.
• Registration with state as a licensed technician is required upon hire.
• Compounding and/or laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measures, weighs, counts, and compounds medications.
• Mixes pharmaceutical preparations according to formulation logs.
• Establishes and maintains accurate patient records with lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Maintains proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
• Preparation and compounding of sterile products.
• Maintaining the clean room to USP 797 and USP 800 requirements.
