Job summary

Heartland Food Products Group seeks a Process Engineer Aseptic for its Indianapolis, IN plant. This 100% onsite role supports Manufacturing and Process systems to drive OEE and operational excellence.

You will design and execute projects focused on capacity, process and cost improvements, collaborating with Quality and Engineering to improve processes and products. The position requires a BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical), 2–3 years in manufacturing, and experience with GMP/FDA HACCP in

Qualifications

BS in Engineering required; Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
2-3 years of manufacturing experience.
Experience in a food-grade environment (FDA, GMPs, HACCP) with high-speed packaging equipment preferred.
Experience with project work is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in improving lines and packaging area; lead improvements to reduce waste and increase OEE.
Analyze production processes, schedules and data; provide management with reports and insights.
Develop and guide technicians to implement process improvements and cost reductions.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements; assist in SOP development and updates.
Coordinate with quality and engineering to integrate products and processes.
