Job summary

Elanco is hiring a Media Prep Technician for the Fort Dodge facility on a 3rd shift (Mon-Thu, 8pm-6:30am). You will be trained to set up, operate, and troubleshoot production equipment, document work, and ensure compliance with cGMP and safety standards.

The role emphasizes LEAN integration and accurate batch record handling. Responsibilities include aseptic processing, inventory lookups, and completing training on procedures, equipment operation, and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of experience, or an Associate’s degree with 2 years experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or related field.
• Ability to read, interpret, and conform to batch records and quality/safety requirements.
• Basic computer skills with Word, Excel and electronic management systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment in production areas.
• Document work and perform computer-based tasks per procedures and lean initiatives.
• Conduct aseptic processes, weigh, measure, sample, and verify according to batch production records and cGMP.
• Oversee production processes, environmental monitoring, and in-process quality checks.
