Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Production Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift (Saturday through Wednesday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) at the Fort Dodge, IA site. You will support high-speed packaging and fill line equipment, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain critical production systems to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

The role requires a High School Diploma/GED and maintenance experience in manufacturing, with strong mechanical troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial setting preferred.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on packaging/fill line equipment and related systems.
• Coordinate equipment setup, changeovers, PM activities, and mechanical troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Complete electronic work orders and maintain maintenance documentation per cGMP standards.
• Support fabrication and repair work including welding, grinding, sawing, and metalwork as needed.
