Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a dedicated MD Fill - Aseptic Gown for the night shift (6pm-6:30am, Wed-Fri & every other Sat) to support cGMP biologics manufacturing. You will work with engineers on setup and calibration and perform rework and quality testing of parts, components and final materials.

The role uses LIMS, SAP and automated control systems to collect data and adjust processes, and involves maintaining aseptic gowning and PPE, clean room procedures, and strict documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to become aseptic gown certified.
• High School diploma (or equivalent experience) with 2+ years experience; Associates in science with 1+ year; Bachelor’s with 0+ year.
• Aseptic experience (Preferred).
• Aseptic PPE Experience (Preferred).
• Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.

Responsibilities

• Must have the ability to become aseptic gown certified.
• Shipping finished materials.
• Maintaining inventory levels.
• Sampling of in-process and raw materials.
• Running glass washer / autoclave.
• Buffer / media preparation.
• Equipment preparation (CIP / SIP).
• Cell culture (from vial thaw to production scale).
• Column chromatography.
• Tangential flow filtration.
• Wear an aseptic gown during an 8 hr shift.
• Willing to complete lot cleaning sanitation during the work shift.
• Follow all clean room entry and exit procedures.
• Wear the required aseptic gowning and PPE correctly at all times.
• Perform hand hygiene and sanitization before entering the clean room.
• Maintain aseptic technique to prevent contamination of materials and products.
• Sanitize work surfaces, tools, and equipment on a frequent and consistent basis.
• Minimize movement, talking, and unnecessary activity in the clean room.
