Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, IN, is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead aseptic production on a dedicated shift for injectable drug products. You will supervise multiple lines, ensure cGMP compliance, and drive safety, quality and efficiency.

The role requires leadership of a team, collaboration across sites, and a focus on continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment. Schedule: Mon-Thu, 10pm–7:30am.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GMPs and worldwide regulatory guidelines.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in parenteral manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing experience (value stream mapping, kaizen events).
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and enterprise software (JDE, BPLM, MAXIMO, Trackwise).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of manufacturing supervisors to meet production schedules in controlled environments.
• Partner with peers in other buildings and shifts to maintain site schedules.
• Interview, hire, coach, and develop staff; provide timely feedback and set priorities.
• Develop, deploy, and manage processes to run and improve the business.
• Collaborate with Quality, Program Management, Engineering and Maintenance to support projects and audits.
