Job summary

Simtra BioPharma Solutions in Bloomington, IN seeks a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Manager (Weekend AM) to lead a shift of filling lines for sterile products. You will manage Supervisors, drive cGMP compliance, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Program Management to meet client deadlines.

The role requires 5+ years in aseptic pharma, 3+ years in leadership, and a strong lean, kaizen mindset. Weekend daytime schedule supports site operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline is strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in all aspects of the aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing process.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in parenteral manufacturing; Lean manufacturing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of manufacturing supervisors to meet the production schedule in controlled environments.
• Partner with peers across buildings and on other shifts to maintain the site schedule.
• Interviews, hires, coaches, and develops staff with clear direction and priorities.
• Develop, deploy, and properly manage processes to run and improve the business.
• Partner with quality and technical services to close investigations timely.
• Approve SOPs, validations, and protocols promptly.
• Support client projects and client audits with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain budget and expenses within the plan.
