Job summary

AbbVie offers an entry level maintenance role focused on preventive and demand maintenance with opportunities to support senior technicians. You will work as part of a team to build a broad, multi-craft foundation and grow into higher-level technician roles while wearing an aseptic gown during the 12-hour shift.

The role requires aseptic gown certification, basic power and measurement tool use, and a willingness to adhere to GMP, safety regulations, and AbbVie Code of Business Conduct.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• Must have the ability to become aseptic gown certified.
• Mechanical experience highly preferred.
• Schematic experience highly preferred.
• Electrical experience highly preferred.
• Must have the ability to become aseptic gown certified.
• Must be willing to wear an Aseptic gown during the 12hr shift.
• HS diploma with 0+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate. Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)

Responsibilities

• Must have the ability to become aseptic gown certified.
• Adhere to Abbvie’s Code of Business Conduct
• Understands and follows all GMP and Safety regulations
• Work with Sr Level Technicians across several areas of Maintenance to build a diverse, multi-craft foundation for their career in the Skilled Trades with the intent of building skills and developing into a higher-level Technician.
• Perform Preventive and Demand Maintenance activities, support Predictive Maintenance activities. Vocational training to increase skill set and knowledge across multiple maintenance functions.
