Job summary

AbbVie in Texas is seeking an entry-level maintenance technician for the MD Fill - A1 Shift. The role runs 6am-6:30pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday, and supports preventive and demand maintenance under supervision to build multi-craft skills.

You will work with Sr Level Technicians across maintenance areas, learn to calibrate equipment, handle basic mechanical/electrical tasks, and grow toward higher-level technician roles while adhering to safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with relevant experience or Certificate; technical school enrollment is a plus.
• Basic to intermediate Mechanical/Electrical Aptitude with knowledge of production equipment.
• Ability to calibrate machinery using precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to AbbVie's Code of Business Conduct.
• Follow GMP and Safety regulations with Sr Level Technicians.
• Perform Preventive and Demand Maintenance, support Predictive Maintenance.
• Gain skills across multiple maintenance functions through vocational training.
