Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for an MD Fill (Aseptic Gown Required) role on B1 shift, 7am-7:30pm Thu/Fri/Sat and alternating Wednesdays. This position focuses on preventive and demand maintenance across multiple crafts, under supervision of Senior Technicians.

Ideal candidates will obtain aseptic gown certification and comply with GMP and safety regulations, with a path to grow into higher-level technician roles across maintenance areas.

Qualifications

• Must be able to become aseptic gown certified.
• Mechanical experience highly preferred.
• Schematics experience highly preferred.
• Electrical experience highly preferred.

This is an MD Fill (Aseptic Gown Required) role.

B1 Shift: 7am-7:30pm Thursday/Friday/Saturday & every other Wednesday

This position is an entry level maintenance position. This role will serve as a primary resource on preventive and demand maintenance activities within their current skill set while supporting Senior technicians with more advanced tasks.

Responsibilities

• Must have the ability to become aseptic gown certified.
• Adhere to Abbvie’s Code of Business Conduct
• Understands and follows all GMP and Safety regulations
• Work with Sr Level Technicians across several areas of Maintenance to build a diverse, multi-craft foundation for their career in the Skilled Trades with the intent of building skills and developing into a higher-level Technician.
• Perform Preventive and Demand Maintenance activities, support Predictive Maintenance activities. Vocational training to increase skill set and knowledge across multiple maintenance functions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and ability to apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• Must have the ability to become aseptic gown certified.
