AbbVie Inc. is seeking an entry level Maintenance Technician to serve as a primary resource for preventive and demand maintenance activities on their current skill set.

This role supports Senior Technicians and aims to develop into a higher-level technician through multi-craft training. The position operates on a B2 shift (7pm-7:30am) with 15% night shift pay premium, offering hands-on experience in GMP-regulated environments and opportunities to advance through vocational training across

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 0+ years experience or relevant certificate. Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and measuring tools in an industrial setting.

• Perform Preventive and Demand Maintenance activities, support Predictive Maintenance activities.
• Adhere to AbbVie’s Code of Business Conduct and follow GMP and Safety regulations.
• Work with Senior Technicians across multiple maintenance areas to build a diverse foundation and develop into a higher-level Technician.
• Vocational training to increase skill set across multiple maintenance functions.

Job Description

This position is an entry level maintenance position. This role will serve as a primary resource on preventive and demand maintenance activities within their current skill set while supporting Senior technicians with more advanced tasks.

Responsibilities

This is a B2 shift 7pm-7:30am Wednesday/Thursday/Friday & every other Saturday ( w/15% Diff night shift pay increase)

• Adhere to Abbvie’s Code of Business Conduct
• Understands and follows all GMP and Safety regulations
• Work with Sr Level Technicians across several areas of Maintenance to build a diverse, multi-craft foundation for their career in the Skilled Trades with the intent of building skills and developing into a higher-level Technician.
• Perform Preventive and Demand Maintenance activities, support Predictive Maintenance activities.
• Vocational training to increase skill set and knowledge across multiple maintenance functions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and ability to apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• HS diploma with 0+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate. Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of experience with maintenance activities and Mechanical or electrical aptitude Highly Desirable
• Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic drawings Highly Desirable
• Some experience with preventative maintenance and demand maintenance Highly Desirable
