Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking a Maintenance Coach on the FFEx team to develop technical competencies on shift and ensure successful production maintenance execution. You will mentor technicians, coordinate daily schedules, and drive proactive quality improvements across shifts.

Reporting to a manager, you will implement maintenance standards, track actions, and ensure SAP and log books are up to date. Strong Lean/Six Sigma experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from an accredited university.
• Associate’s degree in a technical field with 7+ years maintenance/manufacturing experience.
• High School Diploma with 9+ years of maintenance/manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance/manufacturing experience in pharma environment.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of high-speed or automated systems: Filling, Formulation, Inspection, Assembly, Packaging, or Utilities.
• Experience driving process improvements with Lean and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a maintenance advocate, coordinating daily schedule and removing barriers.
• Coaches and mentors maintenance technicians on shift.
• Executes process confirmation of maintenance standards and drives quality improvements.
• Coaches maintenance Event Response process and tracks actions.
• Ensures documentation in SAP and log books; verifies solutions across shifts.
• Manages development plans for on-shift maintenance staff.
• Executes shift maintenance plan and closes work orders.
• Implements process improvements and adheres to safety and environmental requirements.
